Mid-Level Designer
Experience:
3-6+ years in a landscape architecture firm
Responsibilities:
Performs design and technical tasks on a range of project types and scales as part of a team
Contributes to project success through effective internal and external coordination, creative problem solving and project completion
Prepare site renderings and illustrations by hand and computer rendering
Site analysis
Prepare construction documents and specifications
Construction observation
Project management and Interdisciplinary communication
Mentoring and developing the skills of junior landscape design staff
Qualifications:
Proficiency and passion for creating compelling design, with an ability to develop the work through the technical design phases
Demonstrated excellent production and digital rendering experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up and Rhino
Familiar with Southern California Plant Material
Bachelor's degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program or related field
Ability to effectively manage time and self-edit work
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the team
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

LANDmarc is actively seeking a highly talented Mid-Level Designer for immediate full-time employment in the greater Los Angeles, CA area to support a broad range of project typologies including public and private realm projects. Candidates must be a self-starter, ambitious and curious. Candidates considering a position at LANDmarc must have excellent graphic communication skills and 3D modeling. Initially the role will be 100% remote with the expectation of a gradual transition into an office environment at some point.
