Challenged by the City of Santa Monica to produce an affordable, highly-visible installation, LANDmarc created the Santa Monica Crosswalk Pilot Project in collaboration with Here.LA.

An award-winning success, the Santa Monica Crosswalks Pilot Project sets a local and national precedent for enhancing the urban realm quickly and at low cost. The eye-catching project includes two separate crosswalks and incorporates sacrificial paint that will wear-away with use.

The iconic installation has been featured in the New York Times, LA Times, Santa Monica Mirror, and other local media outlets throughout Southern California.
